Eight Below
Wow, the year is passing quickly. What a lovely year it has been. Kennedy, Ava, Lucy, Erick and (maybe Celli) I are planning to spend some time at the beach this week. I can't wait to feel that cold Lake Michigan water. I'm hoping it isn't too cold for Lucy. If so, we'll take turns going in with Po-po and Wooffess.
Saw Eight Below last night. Great story. If the acting weren't swag, it would have been first class, but due to some poor characterization, I can only recommend it as a decent film worth your time if only for the amazing views of Antarctica and the realistic (not Disneytized) portrayal of the dogs.

Hammer Time
It's true, if I had it to do over, I wouldnt' have hammered my finger between the wood flooring and the "tapping block." Tapping, yeah, right.
Who likes _What Do You Know_? I LOVE this show! Kate thinks the guy's voice is annoying, but she also hated Dave Matthews in the beginning, so I can't trust her judgement any longer. Driving with Kate is equally as misleading, though she's an awesome friend and a fantastic writer.
Best friends are great. I can say to Kate, for instance, "Did he pass the strawberry test?" OR "How does he compare with a used car?" and she knows what I mean. Do _you_ know what I mean?
Oh, man, _What Do You Know_ is over. Motiva- ti - o n dwind- ling . . .

Madonna, Madonna, Madonna!
Kennedy and Ava have really taken to the material girl. They now play "Hung Up" on an hourly basis (thanks to Uncle John) and try to emulate the video, which is the greatest thing since bread-makers.
Madonna is cool, though. She's from Michigan, she has a great body, the cute gap between her two front teeth and lots of fame and fortune. I remember listening to Madonna when I was just a bit older than Kennedy and look how I turned out.
I've asked Kennedy to show me her moves. I'm going to get a boom-box with lights and all and do some dancing on the corner of Union and Front just for kicks. Maybe John could get us up to the helo-pad? We could have one hell of a dance party up there. And, boy, can he move.
Hey, I'm just noticing the "Create a Poll" feature - I've been waiting for this all my life...
